VOCO – The Dentalists
The family-run dental company VOCO located in Cuxhaven (Germany) is one of the leading manufacturers in the industry, both nationally and internationally. The product portfolio comprises more than 100 preparations, with a focus on preventive, restorative, prosthetic and digital dentistry. The products are manufactured at the headquarters and are therefore 100 percent “Made in Germany”. 470 people are employed in the departments of research, production, sales and administration in Germany. Another 400 employees are responsible for sales worldwide and take care of dentists and depots on site.
In addition to user-friendliness, the highest safety standards and product quality have top priority at VOCO: Since September 2021, VOCO has been one of the first German dental companies to be fully certified under the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR) in accordance with (EU) 2017/745. Meaning that medical products of class I and IIa manufactured at the Cuxhaven site are always produced and placed on the market in accordance with valid European guidelines.
Thanks to innovative solutions, the company, founded in 1981, often takes on pioneering roles and establishes new standards in the dental world. In addition, VOCO consistently pushes the digital dentistry and combines complex technologies with best user comfort.

Permanent dental prostheses should not only be robust and durable, but should also provide a natural aesthetic appearance in order to fulfil the high demands of patients. Milled CAD-CAM materials, which are very similar to natural teeth in terms of both their appearance and their physical properties, are at a significant advantage in this respect. With Grandio blocs and Grandio disc, VOCO has developed an innovative nano-ceramic hybrid material that represents the ideal alternative to conventional ceramics. The product combines maximum aesthetics with tooth-like properties in terms of its strength and elasticity. This opens up new potential for permanent restorations.
Grandio
Grandio – excellent proven material and handling properties
Due to its special material properties, universal application and convenient handling, Grandio ranks internationally as one of the most successful restoratives. Complete and durable treatment of all cavity classes is accomplished with Grandio.
All Grandio products hallmark outstanding material properties which have been scientifically documented in well over 100 studies. The proven excellence of Grandio as an allround-talent lies directly in its combination of diverse qualities, such as an incredibly high filler content (87 w/w %) and low polymerisation shrinkage (1.57 %). Grandio is additionally persuasive with its pleasant handling due to smooth consistency as well as 16 shades in graduated levels of opacity, excellent shade stability and tooth-like translucency.
GrandioSO Unlimited
GrandioSO Unlimited - 4 mm universal composite in five Cluster-Shades
While aesthetic universal composites have to be layered and polymerised in 2 mm increments, which is complicated, bulk-fill composites offer the advantage of application into the cavity in increments of up to 4 mm. However, due to their insufficient aesthetics, bulk-fill composites are normally only used for the posterior region. VOCO has now resolved this issue with the new universal composite GrandioSO Unlimited. The aesthetic material can be applied in increments of up to 4 mm into the cavity and is indicated both for the anterior and posterior regions. You therefore only need one packable universal composite!
Cluster-Shade-System
In addition, with only 5 shades to stock, you are optimally positioned for your everyday practice and can significantly downsize your stock. Thanks to the simplified shade system, the 5 Cluster-Shades are able to cover all 16 classic VITA® shades.
High-Performance-Composite
With an impressive filler content of 91 % by weight, GrandioSO Unlimited is setting new standards in the high-performance composites class when it comes to stability and strength. The low volume shrinkage of 1.44 % reduces the danger of poor marginal gap formation and marginal discolouration, and contributes to the most high-quality restorations.
VOCO Profluorid Varnish
Profluorid Varnish is a moisture-tolerant colophonybased varnish containing 5% sodium fluoride (22,600 ppm fluoride). As well as rapidly sealing the dentinal tubules, VOCO Profluorid Varnish also causes calcium fluoride deposits to form on the tooth surface. These deposits protect the tooth from acid attacks, promote desensitization and contribute to the long-term formation of fluoroapatite. Profluorid Varnish is available in seven pleasant flavours and tooth-shaded for better aesthetics.
